Welcome to the MidAmerica Stroke Network at Saint Louis University Hospital. We realize hospitals may be overwhelming; we are here to help you feel better.
As a certified Stroke Center of Excellence by the Joint Commission, SLU Hospital created the MidAmerica Stroke Network to collaborate on quality stroke care measures throughout the region. Our staff is committed to providing current and clinically-effective stroke care to the patients we serve.
The representatives in Saint Louis University Hospital's Patient and Guest Services department are the link between patients and their families. They are available to help with matters concerning patients' hospitalization, to answer questions, and to listen to suggestions and opinions.
Patient and Guest Services can be reached between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at (314) 577-8500. At other times, messages may be left for Patient and Guest Services with the hospital operator or by telling a nursing supervisor, social worker or chaplain.
